Dupehunter Professional is the professional tool for the identification of duplicated files on Windows operating systems.
We would like to introduce you to Dupehunter Professional, an innovative search program that identifies duplicates on personal computers or in a network. Dupehunter Professional is a well-thought-out program and offers a high degree of flexibility. Dupehunter Professional finds and removes duplicated files regardless of file names. It works with calculated hash values of CRC-32 (32 bit), MD5 (128 bit) and SHA-1 (160 bit), but also with a binary comparison. The speed and functionality of Dupehunter Professional gives you a perfect tool to aid computer forensics in finding any evidence of computer crime much more easily. You can erase files acc. to US DoD 5220-22.M, Gutmann method or with random data. Duplicated files are usually redundant and unnecessary, so keeping them is merely a waste of valuable hard disk space.

Servicepacks and Edition
Dupehunter Professional supports all servicepacks of the newer operating systems, if they are available. Dupehunter Professional works well on all editions of newer systems like Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7. It doesn’t matter whether you’re using XP Home or Professional. All editions of Windows Vista and Windows 7 are supported, too.
Multiprocessor environments
Dupehunter Professional was developed on a Dual XEON 2 x 2 GHz system and Core 2 Quad. So, Dupehunter Professional works well with activated and deactivated hyper-threading. Customers with quad-systems are also well known. The program should work also on 64-bit operating systems, otherwise please contact us.
Other Operating Systems
Dupehunter Professional is designed as 32 bit application and should work on any Windows 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems. If you use a system such as Windows Server 2003 R2 or other, and Dupehunter Professional works on your machine, please give us information to add this system to our list above. Other systems like Linux, Unix or BeOS are not supported.
